ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Abstracts should only be submitted online via EasyChair conference system below.
  • All submitted abstracts will undergo peer review. The abstract should clearly indicate the aims and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper.
  • Abstract text length should not be less than 250 words and not be longer than 1000 words and should be in English. Turkish papers' titles, abstracts and keywords should be both in English and in Turkish (the titles should be first in Turkish then in English).
  • You will be informed in 5 business days by e-mail about the acceptance/rejection of your abstract submission after the peer review process
  • Please do not send your final papers before 22th of August 2016.

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS

  • You can present your presentations/ papers in three modalities: in person (either oral or poster presentation) or virtually (non-attending authors). Please, specify the type of your contribution as the “Participation/ Presentation Category” when submitting the abstract via EasyChair system.
  • The Programme Committee reserves the right to decide on the final allocation and presentation method.

Attending in person - Oral presentation:

Each presentation will last 15 minutes and will be presented in parallel thematic sessions. You will be informed of your session reference and the time of your presentation before the conference.

Attending in person - Poster presentation:

Your poster will be exhibited during the conference poster session. Poster sessions will provide an opportunity for authors to display the results and conclusions of their papers. Authors are invited to present their works face to face to individuals and small groups.

Non-attending authors- Virtual Participant:

If you wish your paper to be published in the ADVED 2016 Abstracts & Proceedings CD (with an ISBN number), but you are not able to attend the ADVED 2016 Conference in person, you can submit your abstract as “virtual participant”. Virtual presentations of registered virtual authors will receive a copy of the ADVED 2016 Abstracts & Proceedings CD, a participation certificate, an author certificate and an invoice of the registration fee. Paper submission and registration deadlines are also restrictive for virtual authors.

Virtual authors -like as in-person participants- also get right for their papers to be reviewed for publishing in one of our peer reviewed online International journals with an ISSN number (IJAEDU- International E-Journal of Advances in Education  and  IJASOS- International E-journal of Advances in Social Scienceswhich are also sent to be reviewed for their inclusion in the ISI Citation Indexes.

While submitting papers, authors should indicate their participation/ presentation category: "oral", "poster" or "virtual"

PROCESS OF SENDING YOUR ABSTRACT VIA EASYCHAIR

Step 1- Creating an EasyChair Account: (If you already have an EasyChair account from a previous conference, use your existing account for this conference, skip this step and start from Step 2). Go to the Easychair Abstract submission page, you should register first – just click at the “sign up for an account” link at the login page and fill in the form. The system will send you an e-mail with the instructions how to finish the registration.

 

NOTE: Some mails servers at universities “filter out” the automatic e-mails send by the EasyChair system. In case you do not receive an e-mail from EasyChair (it may take some time), try to find it in “junk” e-mails. Sometimes this does not help and it is necessary to use another e-mail address. (According to our experience, gmail, yahoo, hotmail, outlook and etc. addresses work well.)

In case you forgot your username or password for your EasyChair account, follow the link after the words “If you have problems to sign in” at the login page.

 

Abstract Submitting Process via EasyChair

Step 2: Go to the EasyChair ADVED 2016 submission page

Step 3: Enter your EasyChair username and password and log in

Step 4: Click NEW SUBMISSION at the top of the page

Step 5: By following the instructions fill in the form, and then submit

NOTE: After submitting your paper successfully, you should receive an e-mail from EasyChair that you have successfully submitted your abstract by copy/paste.
